   Senior Evan Akkashian scored with a header off a corner kick from junior David Cornier-Bridgeforth with 29 seconds left to lift Birmingham Roeper to a come-from-behind 4-3 boys soccer win over Michigan Independent Athletic Conference rival Plymouth Christian Academy on Tuesday, Sept. 10, at Plymouth Christian.

   Roeper was down 2-1 at halftime.

   Akkashian finished the game with three goals and an assist.

   Freshman Yasir Yuhas collected his first career goal while freshman Aiden Song chipped in two assists.

   Senior Josh Vens made seven saves in goal for the Roughriders.

   Roeper improves to 6-2-0 overall and 2-1-0 in league play. They travel to Auburn Hills Oakland Christian on Thursday, Sept. 12.
