Clarkston Everest Collegiate junior captain Lucas Cross scores on a penalty kick Monday against Allen Park Cabrini.

   Clarkston Everest Collegiate powered past Allen Park Cabrini 5-0 in a Catholic High School League Intersectional boys soccer crossover on Monday, Oct. 5, at Everest.

   Junior captain Lucas Cross opened the scoring on a penalty kick with 31:16 left in the first half. Sophomore Jose DeNigris made the lead 2-0 two minutes later. Cross would add another goal in the game. Senior

 

 

Anthony Felix and senior Emiliano Ramirez-Soto added goals. Sophomore Tom Williams earned the shutout in goal.

   Everest improved to 6-5-2 with the victory. Cabrini fell to 0-9-2.

   Everest travels to Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook Kingswood today, Oct. 6.

   The Mountaineers open the Michigan High School Athletic Association district playoffs on Oct. 19 against Burton Genesee Christian.
