   Ann Arbor Greenhills edged Manchester 2-1 to earn the Michigan High School Athletic Association District 54 boys soccer championship on Thursday, Oct. 21, at Greenhills.

   The Gryphons advance to the Region 14 tournament where they will face the District 55 champion on Tuesday, Oct. 26. Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central plays Allen Park Inter-City Baptist for the that title on Friday, Oct. 22.

   On the other side of the regional, No. 3-ranked Grosse Pointe Woods University Liggett faces No. 9-ranked Hillsdale Academy on Tuesday, Oct. 26
